From Pride and Prejudice.
It seems like an incorrect sentence to me. If it were me, I would say: None of them has much to recommend. I don't really understand the structure of the sentence above. Could anyone help me with it, please?

In 1813, Jane Austen wrote Pride and Prejudice. English language is a living language and it undergoes many changes ....So there would be some kinks here and there when you read books written such a long time ago.
