Some people say that if you and I were sitting in a room together and I suddenly turned to you and bluntly said, “Go out!”, you might not automatically understand it as me telling you to leave the room (“Get out!”). Instead, you could find it unclear and think I meant going out for fun, shopping, dating, etc.
So if I add “please” and say “Please go out!” or “Go out, please!”, could the listener still misunderstand it as meaning going out for a date, shopping, or something similar?
