But in your sentence I think it's better to put "now" in the beginning, because you want to emphasize the timing, which is "now". The word us has to be removed. But I would go one step further, and change it to "now we are following each other on installation." You want to use the present continuous form "we are following" because its an action that you are both doing and will continue to do.
