Hi! In this phrase "draw on" could be replace for rely?
"The fields I draw on—biology, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, and more..."

Think of the expression « draw water from a well ». Of course you RELY on this well for your water, but draw on means you actually take water from the well.
So this person is actually taking something from the fields she names. She doesn’t just rely on them, she uses information from them, she takes information from them.

"Rely on" has similar meaning, but I'd say the closest synonym is "utilize."
