(√, but could also translate to "He took advantage of me" which is less severe) Él abusó de mi. It smells like strawberries. (√) Huele a fresas. It smells like smoke. (√) Huele a Fumo. It tastes like cardboard. (√) Sabe de cartón.
My fiancé is Costa Rican and he has no idea what "abuso de mi alfombra" means, either. Let us know!
