Hi everyone 👋
Today let’s learn two common Chinese idioms about learning attitude.
一心一意 (yī xīn yī yì)
Meaning: wholehearted, focused, putting all your heart into one thing.
Example:
He is 一心一意 learning Chinese.
He concentrates on his studies and never gets distracted.
三心二意 (sān xīn èr yì)
Meaning: half-hearted, easily distracted, not serious.
Example:
Don’t be 三心二意 when you study.
If you lose focus easily, you will make slow progress.
If you want to learn Chinese well, be 一心一意, not 三心二意.
Hope you find these phrases useful in your learning.
Keep practicing and enjoy your Chinese journey!
