What's the difference between leap and jump?

Estas palabras son similares pero hay una diferencia.
La palabra "to jump / saltar" se puede utilizar en la mayoría de las circunstancias.
La palabra "to leap" es a menudo solo para describir una acción como:
- un caballo saltando una cerca
- un auto saltando sobre un cañón
- una situación en la que estás muy emocionado, por ejemplo:
"My heart leapt when I saw my husband after 5 years!"
o
"When the job was offered, I leapt at the chance."
They are very similar though.
