is there any difference between mentality and mindset?

Of course it is. Mentality mean something longer made by attitude, environment and his lifestyle but mindset it s like temporary moment of his mind when it s set up like that because of some particular reason.

They're synonyms ; 'mentality' can be used to refer to both inherent personal character and acquired beliefs, while 'mindset' tends to mean only acquired 'learned' attitudes.
