Is "流如水" a good Japanese translation for the phrase "flow like water"?
If not, what is a good way to phrase it in Japanese?

水ように流れ perhaps. What you have looks like Chinese rather than Japanese.

I would suggest 水の流るるが如く。the characters order you wrote is Chinese.

Both mean almost same. Just 水の流るるが如しis more writing way and the other is verbal way.
