Hello guys. Who can tell me what does the word overbearing mean? And when do we use it. It makes me confused.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Esraa,
Overbearing = trying to control other people in an unpleasant way.
For example, someone might say "my parents are so overbearing! They are always trying to control what career I should do/telling me that I should get married soon" etc
