Hi, everyone. I have to give a three minute speech tomorrow,so please see if my statement is correct. Good afternoon. Today, I will talk about my childhood. I was born in Nagano. Nagano is very cold,so we get a lot of snow in winter. My parents worked at a ski resort as snowboard instructors. Since, I was at ski resort all the time I enjoyed skiing and sledding with my friends. When I was a three years old, I started skiing. My father made a jump board for me to practice in our garden. He also taught me how to snowboard. In summer, I played outside with my dog. Her name is Marron. We ran around garden and I made flower crowns for her. Sometimes, I played on the stilts and skateboarded with my father. When I was a kindergarten, I liked to play outside and draw pictures. Since my parents were busy with work I entered kindergarten eariler than usual. I told my mother "see you later" without crying. When, I entered elementary school I joined the choir. When I was a child my mother always sang to me so I liked singing. I did my best every time, and participated in choir contests I even won some prizes. This is a good memory. Then, I joined a badminton club with my friends. I went to my friends house every Wednesday to play badminton. I enjoyed it.d During lunch at school I liked to play tag,hide and seek and run. I was good at running. Especially, I was good at long distance running. I was in the top ten in the marathon every year. However, now I don't run as fast as I used to. In middle school and high school I entered an out-of-the prefecture school. I was worried about making new friends, but I made some very good friends over the six years. We still hang out together sometimes. We always tried hard on tests even when the tests were very challenging. During lunch everyone was studying English vocabulary, and I think that is why I keep trying hard to improve my English.I miss how we all helped each other and worked hard.

I also used to play tag and hide-and-seek in the school yard during my lunch break. I was good at running, especially long-distance running. Every year, I was in the top ten positions in marathon but now I’m running slower. After that, I entered an out-of-the prefecture middle and high school. I was worried about all the strangers, but I made some very good friends over the six years. Since (then), we still see and hang out sometimes. We always had to sit hard tests and even during lunch time, everyone was studying English vocabulary but I think it's what keeps me going on today. I miss how we all used to help each other out and how hard we used to work.
