Is the usage of "Autochthonous" correct in the this sentence? "The autochthonous web deveolment in C.R. seems to be increacing the present year due to a major focus on this technological area"

Hi Learner. "Autochthonus" means indigenous or native. It can also mean formed or originating in the place where found. I don't think it is appropriate in this context.
