Yesterday morning, I went out with my mom and my three year-old son. He was as good as gold. He didn't make a mess at lunch. He didn't throw tantrums even when he was sleepy. However, he woke up three times last night. Today I felt I was as sick as a dog. But I believe after a good night's sleep, I will be as fresh as a daisy, as right as rain. Does my use of these 'as...as' phrases make sense? Thank you. :)
