It must be Jiaozi(dumplings), I think. it has two parts, crust and filling. The crust is made of flour and the filling depends on everyone's preference. For example, someone may mix meat with vegetables but someone may like pure meat in Jiaozi. We wrap the filling with the crust and then just put it into water and wait it to be boiled. We often eat dumplings at Chinese New Year. But you can eat it every day as long as you like it. Many busy people will take instant frozen dumplings as food when they have little time to cook. It is very convenient!

I would say Jiaozi (dumplings), I think. They have two parts, crust and filling. The crust is made of flour and the filling depends on everyone's preference. For example, someone may mix meat with vegetables but someone else may like pure meat in Jiaozi. We wrap the filling with the crust and then just put it into water and wait for it to be boiled. We often eat dumplings at Chinese New Year. But you can eat them every day as long as you like them. Many busy people will take instant frozen dumplings as food when they have little time to cook. Those dumplings sound delicious! I hope I can try them one day! In your writing I changed some of the "it"s to "they/them" to sound more natural. I also added "for" after "wait" to make your sentence grammatically correct. I hope you enjoy your Jiaozi!

It is very convenient! This is a good attempt but it is not really answering the question. The question is asking about foods (plural) from your area. You have talked at length about the dumplings but have not mentioned any other foods. I think it is good that you have explained that you eat dumplings at New Year because that is a tradition. Perhaps you could add some other foods and reduce the information about how the dumplings are made. I am happy to have a look again when you have done this. I hope this is helpful to you. 😊
