Professional Teacher#english Did you know that the British love to use the word “sorry”?
We use it in so many circumstances.
Sorry - to apologise “I’m sorry for doing that”
Sorry - to move around “Sorry, can I sit here?”
Sorry - asking a question “Sorry, do you have the time?”
Sorry - to correct someone “Oh, sorry, I think the answer is 4”
I am sure there are other examples I have missed.
But the fact is, when you’re in the UK please remember the word sorry!
