Both are correct, whereas the first has the chance of having actions that followed it and are linked to it
The second shows just the action itself where it was done and ended

If these sentences are standing by themselves, then only the first one works. "Already" makes the link between past and present that requires the present perfect tense. I can't think of a correct way of using the second sentence, even if you add something to it, or imagine a context that you haven't mentioned.

both, 但是一个是现在完成一个是过去时,都行都能用。
前者强调已经完成了,并且和现在谈论的事情大概率有联系,后者单单表示已经收到了文件。
already只是强调这件事已经做好了,不代表时态配合的必要。
