Is this statement correct?

hi dhruv, carrie is correct. however i have heard foreigners say: “Do you take me as a joke?” when what they were really asking me was: “Do you think that i’m joking with you?”
i just wanted to make sure the first option was what you wanted to convey. keep up the good work! 😉
