I'm an university student and in my university there are many pointless rule that do nothing except going against the students favour. One of them that I found particulary annoying is that you cannot take a language exam in the same session of your graduation. A pratical example is that, if I want to graduate on october I can't take the english exam in september so if I don't pass the exam on June, I'm obliged to do it on sempteber and graduating on February, so an entire year will be wasted without any logical reason.

While 'university' starts with a vowel 'u', it does not start with a vowel SOUND; we start the word with /ju:/ rather than /u:/, and the 'a' vs 'an' rule follows the sound, not the spelling. I changed 'found' to 'find' to agree with 'cannot', and because you are still at the university and presumably still find the rule annoying! If you were talking about your old high school, you might say "one of them that I FOUND particularly annoying". Watch out for months, always use 'in' rather than 'on' (while you will see things like "on June 21st", remember that 'June 21st' is a date and not a month!

Oh, I hope you pass the exam in June, all the best!

It does sound like a ridiculous rule.
