How to say "proactive" in Chinese and how to use it in a sentence?

You can learn the usage of "proactive(主动)" by compare it with "reactive(反应)". Proactive actions are intended to cause changes, rather than just reacting change. If someone is reactive, they behave in response to what happens to them. For example if a teacher wants his students be more active and have more communicate with him on the classes, he can say: I hope the students be less reactive and more proactive. (我希望学生们在我的课堂上更主动) Notice that I didn't traslate "reactive", I just said 更主動,there is nothing wrong if you translate(我希望学生们不要被动要主动) but just not so clear. Hope you can get it! Chien

proactive翻译成中文是“积极的”、“主动的”、“前瞻的”意思。 首先proactive是个形容词,所以跟所有形容词在句子中的作用都是一样的,大部分是用来形容名词的,因此放在名词的前面。 如果你需要用它来形容动词,变成副词形式就可以了。英文中是加上“ly“,中文中是把”的“变成“地”。举例如下: 形容词: Her proactive reaction to the crisis set an example for the team. 她对这次危机积极主动的处理方式为团队立下了的榜样。 副词: He alway does his work proactively. 他总是积极主动地工作。 不知道这样你清楚些了没有。 =)

"proactive" in Chinese means 1.“先行一步的 ”。It means someone takes action earlier than others in order to become a better one.(意思是比别人先走一步,提前行动。)例如: 优秀的学生总是比别人先行一步。 2." 先发制人的 ”。It means someone takes action before others in order to control others.意思是不等别人开始行动,先采取行动,来取得主动权,控制对方。例如: 遇到坏人我们不要被动地遭受欺侮,而是要理直气壮地先发制人。 3. 〈心理〉前摄的 Above are just for references.:-)
