So, to follow ะ by a consonant, it is either changed to ้ or ั
อะ and โอะ use ั:
กะ (ga) --> กัก (gak)
โกะ (geo) --> โกัก (geok)
เอะ and แอะ use ้:
เกะ (ge) --> เก้ก (gek)
แกะ (gae) --> แก้ก (gaek)
do these vowels use ้ and ั at all?
เกาะ (gar) --> ?? (gark)
เกอะ (ger) --> ?? (gerk)
