怎么翻译 "塞翁失马,焉知祸福"? This is one Chinese story I love the best. It says a blessing and a curse are often interchangeable. I wonder is there any equivalent idiom in English?

塞翁失马 = a blessing in disguise There is a saying from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Every misfortune bears within it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit."
