海夜
How do I write "it is evening here" in Japanese? I'm not sure how to write that it's evening where I am. I want to say goodmorning back to my Japanese friend, and also say that where I am, it's evening. ここで晩です? This doesn't seem right... please help! Thank you! :)

When I talk to people in overseas on the phone, in my case, I use (1) こっちは今 夕方だよ。(colloquial expression. when you are talking to friends or family) (2) こちらは今 夕方です。(a bit more formal than (1). when you are talking to the elders or Senpai) to describe "it is evening here".
