What's the correct pronunciation of "여자" yeo-ja or yeo-cha? pls do help me.. and if possible put some explanation.. thank you

You can read "여자" as "yao-ja." if "ㅈ" set in the first of a word, you should read it as "ch." In other, you should do it as "j" There are several letter like above. "ㄱ" first ->"k" other ->"g" "ㅂ" first ->"p" other ->"b" "ㄷ" first ->"t" other ->"d"

It's always pronounced as "yeo-ja" at least in S.Korea, and "여차" has totally different meaning. \^o^/

여자 = yeo-ja It is both, the correct romanization and pronounciation. "cha" would be too soft. 여차 = yeo-cha
