当つ写成小写时是促音，促音っ只出现在か、さ、た、ぱ行前面，在发完促音前的假名后，立即停顿一拍，然后再发后面的假名。如:かっこう
当つ写成大写时,发chi音,有点象中文普通话的"吃".
