Here's one: Thanksgiving turkeys taste terrific - thus, towards Thanksgiving, turkeys are terrified. Or, one for fall (this one is especially hard for East Asians): Lovely leaves lightly land on other lightly landed lovely leaves.

Ten tricky two-toed turkeys trotted on the table. Greedy gobblers grabbed the gravy. Floyd flipped five fine flapjacks! Six sick swans slurped soup slowly. Chef chopped cheese chunks cheerfully. Betty baked a better batch of buttered biscuits. Eleven leaping lizards licked lovely lemon lollipops. Peter Pilgrim picked a peck of pickled peppers; a peck of pickled peppers, Peter Pilgrim picked. If Peter Pilgrim picked a peck of pickled peppers, where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Pilgrim picked? Peter Pilgrim picked pretty plump pumpkins!

According to my American friends, Thanksgiving has been celebrated for years with children playing some familiar Pilgrim games such as practising tongue twisters. Children today still play many games that the Pilgrim children likely played at the first Thanksgiving , such as checkers, hide and seek, leap frog and tic, tac, toe. Other Pilgrim children's games that kids still play today include; running races, playing with tops and marbles and sharing riddles.
