what means desukeredomo in sentences in Japanese language?

1.desu + keredomo (but, however)
Nemui desukeredomo, gakkou e ikimasu. = I am sleepy, but I am going to school.
2.desu + keredomo (about, as to)
Meeting desukeredomo, raigetsu ni enki ninarimashita.
= As to the meeting, we postponed it to next month.
"desukeredomo" sounds a little bit roundabout, these are more simple in the same sense.
1. nemui keredo(mo), gakkou e ikimasu.
2. meeting wa enki ni narimashita. =The meeting was postponed to next month.
