What's the difference? What's the difference between: 어떻게 어떻가조 / ottokajo (i'm not sure with the spelling) 어떻가지 / ottokaji (again, i'm not sure with the spelling)

I think they are "어떻게", "어떡하죠?" and "어떡하지?" respectively. "어떻게" simply means "how" like "how do I spell that?(=어떻게 쓰죠?)". (The base form is "어떻다") On the other hand, both "어떡하죠?" and "어떡하지?" can be used in a situation where you are in trouble and you don't know what to do. Both can be "what should I do?" or "what am I supposed to do?", but "어떡하죠?" is used to ask somebody what I am supposed to do? while "어떡하지?" is more like mumbling to yourself. The base form of both is "어떡하다",and it's the contraction of "어떡하게 하다". \^o^/

어떻게 = how ex) How can you do this to me? (어떻게 나한테 이럴 수 있어?) 어떻가조 (x) 어떡하죠 (o) = What shall I do? 어떻가지 (x) 어떡하지 (o) = What shall I do? "어떡하죠" is a polite expression of "어떡하지" when you speak to the elder or strangers. The original bare verb form of "어떻 ~" is "어떻게 하다" "어떡하지" is short for "어떻게 하지". "지" is a question ending particle. "죠" is short for "지요" and "요" is a polite ending particle. Finally, 어떻게 하다 -> 어떻게 하지요 (하 + 지요 polite question ending particle) -> 어떻게 하죠 (contraction of 하지요).
