"How much have you got left?" It means "money" or "time"?

I agree with what others have said. It could mean either, depending on the context. If someone randomly asked me, "How much have you got left?" I wouldn't know what they were referring to. It all depends on the rest of the conversation.

I guess it's about money, but it depends on the context, maybe it could mean both. Like "I don't have much time, I need to get this done before it's too late" - "How much have you got left?" Though this sounds a bit weird to me, in this situation I'd rather say "How much time do you have?"
