what is "bit blue"?

'Blue' can be used as an adjective which means to feel depressed, dispirited, gloomy, low or sad so if you say someone is a 'bit blue' they are feeling a little depressed. But 'blue' can also mean a number of other things so to be really sure of the meaning it would be better to know more about the context in which the expression was used. :)
