what do we call a team losing the final match? I mean the one which ranks the second after the champion

We call them the 'Runners-up' or '2nd place' or sometimes 'finalists'

Losers. LOL. Actually, we call the team "runner-up" or "runners-up". Other phrases: Silver medalist; Losing finalist.
