here's how i get to this:
1- i have to go to work - mujhe kam par jana hai
mujhe kam karne jana hai means - I have to go to do work
Karna - To Do
Like hacer in Spanish
2- i am ready to go to work - Main Kaam pe jaaney ko tayaar hoon.
Kaam pe = On work Lit. meaning I am ready to go ON WORK.
3- "i have to get ready for work"
my best try:
mujhe kam par jaaney ke lie taiyar hona hai
No need for forms of Karna Use Karna when the English sentence has forms of Do in it.
Great Attempt :):) (Applause)
If You have skype you can ask me there too. :)
Hope It helps :)
