Whats the difference between these two?

質問に簡単に答えます。
凍える=さむくて、体ががうごかない。
凍る=寒さで液体(特に水が)が固体になる。
水は凍るけれども、体は凍らない(こおらない)
人は凍えるが、水は凍えない。
