Proxy means to give authority or power to someone to act for you or it can be a document giving such authority; specifically : a power of attorney authorizing a specified person to vote corporate stock . So you can say "Can I give the proxy vote to my father? I cannot attend the meeting myself."

Why do you make it so formal, it is just a meeting.....don't you agree? :-) 1.Ask my father to attend the meeting for me 2.give permission to your father to handle your financial matters... 3.give him power of attorney to take care of financial and legal matters for you. 4.authorize him to make decisions for you... .....
