Viva & viva voce ????
Well , my question is about the pronunciation of the word ( viva ) meaning ( oral examination ) , is it always / vaiva / , or could it be uttered / viva / when coming in viva voce ??? Thnx for help :)

The word "viva" derives from Latin, and it's pronounced VIVA also in Italian. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/viva In American English it's pronounced VIVA like in Italian, whereas in British English it's pronounced "VAIVA". Both are correct.
