what is the difference between beer and bear in the pronunciation

Ill add a few more words that these sound like. We must find words you can say well already, right? Bear = B + air Beer = B + ear

Phonetics: Beer = bi:r Bear = beir

to make it more confusing.. Bear sounds like bearing without ing at the end. Bearing is a direction by the way. Beer sounds like beard but without the d at the end. And I guess you know a beard is the hair on a man his chin..

Actually, these two words have a totally different hearing. The advice Hurley gave you is very right, since I'm not sure if you understand it written. I'll try to explain though...! beer sounds like b-i-r bear sounds like b-e-a-r Hope I've been helpful!
