ise or ize
i want to know if there is a rule for the proper writing for words who finish with -ise or -ize like organize/organise, prioritize/prioritise.
are both correct? is there one writing which is most in england or america?

-ize is used mostly in US English, and -ise is used mostly in British English.

In England, you would see it spelled 'prioritise'
In the U.S., it is spelled 'prioritize'.
Both are generally accepted with the exception of over-strict self-proclaimed English experts on both sides of the Atlantic.
I prefer prioritize because it makes more sense to me phonetically.
