go quiet on me
You went very quiet on me for a while.
Is it the same thing as you kept silent to me for a while. ? not talk much to me ? Usually negative - because of something unpleasant ?

We usually use this when we have been having a conversation with another person and they have stopped responding. It could be that we have upset them with something we have said or it could be that they are deep in thought.
