「を」を使う場合は、　りんごを食べることができます。　となります。 When you use 'を’, It is going to be 'りんごを食べることができます’. For example, 家を出ることができます　→　家を出られます彼を助けることができます　→　彼を助けられます　etc. りんごを食べられる　の文法は間違いとなります。 so, りんごを食べられる grammer is wrong.
