Hi Cullen,

The actual text (The Road to Royston Valley) is complete nonsense. I'm a little disappointed that this is being given to students to "improve" their reading skills and vocabulary. Words are used incorrectly and the grammar is beyond clumsy. Really, there's no point in trying to explain anything about it (apart from looking up individual words in a dictionary).

You can do yourself a huge favour and read something else.

I wonder if you could reword your whole question in PROPER ENGLISH. We use capital letters and full stops for very good reason: IT HELPS US UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE WRITING.
Seriously, it is very hard to understand what you are asking here. I have a hunch, but do us all a favour and write it out properly.
