The antonym of moral is not moral? My teacher told me it's not immoral but amoral and non-moral,why??

Immoral is the opposite of moral. An immoral action is a bad action; it is evil. Amoral or non-moral means simply "not moral." For example, an animal behaves amorally. "Non-moral" also suggests that the action has no moral value, while "amoral" suggests a moral value of 0 ... if that makes sense....

Moral = modes of conduct; ethical; moral practices or teachings; virtuous, righteous, nobel Immoral = no moral teachings, unrighteous, conflicting with traditional moral principles amoral = neither moral nor immoral. Lying outside the sphere to which moral judgements apply. Like a tiny baby....neither moral nor immoral. I suppose if there are good morals and bad morals, the opposite of moral would be amoral, but I had not thought of it that way before.
