To make sense is to be understandable or to be sensible, but based on the context the meaning may change a little bit. For example, when asking someone "Does this sentence make sense?" you could also say "Do you understand this sentence?" If you were asking yourself "Does true love make sense?" to make sense could also mean to be real or logical like "Is true love real?" This is the meaning in my opinion.
I hope this helps! Have a good day!
