「何ですか」と「何なんですか」の違うところは？

両方とも意味は同じですが、ちょっとニュアンスが違います。
「何ですか」は単純に何かを聞いている意味ですが、
「何なんですか」にすると、それが何なのかを知りたいという気持ちが強調される感じがします。
