there are various ways to express these..but usually~
informal
I thought that you were~ 난 네가 ~인줄 알았어
I thought that you said~ 난 네가 ~한다는 줄 알았어
formal
I thought that you were~ 저는 당신이 ~인줄 알았어요/알았습니다.
I thought that you said~ 저는 당신이 ~한다는 줄 알았어요.
예문)I thought that you said you'd call back at 2
나는 네가 2시에 전화한다는 줄 알았어.
저는 당신이 2시에 전화한다는 줄 알았어요.
I think that you were a teacher.
나는 네가 선생님인 줄 알았어
저는 당신이 선생님인 줄 알았어요.
