It has different meanings
So= "Entonces", "Así qué"
"So.... lets go" - "Entonces.... vamos"
"So you don't understand" - "Así que no entiendes" / "Entonces no entiendes"
So= "Tan" (size, quantity)
"That was so awesome!" - "Eso fue tan genial!"
"So big" - Tan grande
"He's so far" - Él está tan lejos
So= ¿Y?
- You are bad - Eres malo
- So? - ¿Y?
- You broke my heart - Rompiste mi corazón
- So what? - ¿Y qué?
So/So do I=Yo también/Yo igual (Me too)
(I couldn't use examples, my english isn't so good hahaha, sorry)

mmmmmm it can be different, depending the context...example.
so what will we do.... y entonces que haremos?
when there is a long silence and then suddenly say ...so... it means y.
so let's go on...bueno sigamos.
