What does "bench-sitting" mean?
What does "bench-sitting" mean as in "bench-sitting criticism"? Please give me some examples? Thanks!

sometimes called arm-chair criticism. People who criticize others while they dont consider the situation of a person are called armchair critics.

In an athletic contest, the reserves wait on the bench. Bench-sitters are non-participants. Criticism from those not active in a particular area could be considered questionable.
