What does SAP means? Hello everybody! I have this question because I like a song so much. Sure you know It, It's "You took advantage of me" from Ella Fitgerald & Joe Pass (the cover that I like). And the lyrics says " I'm a sentimental sap, that's all". What is SAP?! Thank youuuu =)

A sap on this context means a foolish person, someone who does something even though they know better. It can also mean a person who is gullible.
