How do we use "finish", "end" and "over" correctly?
Is it correct say:
1. Class is finished/Class has finished
2. Class has ended/Class ends
3. Class is over
Just curious why many English learners use "finish".

They are all correct except the second half of #2. If you are talking about past tense, then "class ends" is incorrect.
In answer to your question, "finish" and "end" mean the same thing.
