A corndog is someone who is extremely corny. Corny means melodramatic or embarrassing to the point of being ridiculous. For instance, I could imagine a situation where a girl is sitting with her boyfriend and has the following conversation: [Girl} Thanks for picking me up from work today. [Boy] (Looking directly into her eyes) I would drive to the ends of the earth for you. [Girl] You ain't nothing but a corndog! hahaha.
Additionally, this could be a play on the Elvis Presley song "You Ain't Nothing But A Hound dog."
