"I don't know"/"I didn't know" in Korean
Hi I have a couple of rather simple questions :)
1. What is "I didn't know" in Korean"?
If "I don't know" is 잘 모르겠어요 (am I right?)
does that make "I didn't know" = 잘 모르겠었어요?
2. "I don't know" can be translated to "몰라" but it is reduced to its informal form. May I know where the 라 came from?
thank you in advance! :)

well as you know 몰라 is informal way of saying 모르겠어요 so its just the way it is. "라" doesn't have any specific meaning in it.
I didn't know=몰랐어요.
I don't know=모르겠어요.
