Awwwwww...Yes, it's a game you play with babies or little children. You or the older person playing the game is supposed to hide your face behind an object or your own hands for a second and then suddenly pop back into the scenary saying the word "PEEKABOO" . Well, this is supposed to help kids in their cognitive development but it also provides lots of FUUUUNN ! =D In spanish we say something like "Dónde estoy? ... Aquí estooooy! "

Peekaboo is a game played by adults with very young children - babies, usually. The adult hides their face. They suddenly uncover their face and say "peekaboo!". Babies are amused by this. When they are a little older, they will participate themselves.

Peekaboo is a game played with really little kids. The word itself doesn't really have a meaning. It's kind of just a childish, nonsense word used when playing the game.
